Is it normal to feel like I have a UTI when my period is coming?

My genital hurts a bit when I pee, I usually feel this way when my period is coming, especially the part where the blood comes out during the menstruation. I have cramps in my lower abdomen. I have Brown and white discharge. Are these really normal symptoms of menstruation? Somehow I'm worried that I might have a UTI or cancer. Haha. Thanks for the help ! :)
