How to potty train your puppy?

If you catch him going inside the house, tell him no sternly, but if you don't then don't do anything about it, just clean it up. Cover the smell of the urine with a stronger scent, that way the dog won't want to pee there. Go outside, if you can, with your dog and if you see it doing it's business out there you award it in some way. A simple pet and a good dog! will work ;P if you are using a pad or newspaper, do the same with that, and soon you'll see some progress, but keep doing it. Then just loosen up a bit on the award, but still give them occasionally. If this continues, though, and you've tried everything you can find, you might want to bring your puppy to the vet, because this can be signs of liver problems, or kidney, I forget, I think it was liver :P If you can't get it to work, then you'll probably have to try harder, or bring your puppy to the trainer. xD
