Is my school mentor allowed to do this?

In our school we have SMH (school mentor houses) basicly in the morning we have an extra class where we have a register to see whos in school that day and the same teacher takes the class with the same group from the start of school to when you leave. My mentor(mr clarke) sent me out of SMH and said that he is not being my menor any more as i have no respect for him :S the thing is he knows i have loads of problems and now i have noone to talk to and i spend an hour of the day walking around school or getting into trouble. is he allowed to do this as it is there job to look after us no matter what??
